Gator Bowl Sports

Often the best catalyst for growth is finding the silver lining in change.  The evolution of the Gator Bowl required transformation from the inside out, and the first step was sharing that we were more than just a game.   We'll discuss the evolution of the organization in response to a myriad of external factors including the state of college football, COVID and stadium construction.    

About the Speaker

Katie Cox is the Vice President of Marketing, Membership & Community Relations for Gator Bowl Sports, where she leads marketing, branding, media relations, membership, ticket sales, and community initiatives for the organization and its charitable division, Gator Bowl Charities. With a career that began in sports and event management—including experience with Super Bowl XXXIX and the Denver Broncos—Katie brings a unique perspective on leadership, marketing, community engagement, and building meaningful connections.

A passionate community advocate, Katie serves on several local advisory boards and was named one of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s Women of Influence in 2023. She is also a strong advocate for health, wellness, and personal growth, bringing authenticity and energy to everything she does.
